The Problem:
Traditional Coaching Falls Short for Executives
The traditional coaching models most commonly used today were designed to mirror clinical therapy.
They encourage the coach to show up “blank”, focus on questions aimed at pontification, and were never designed to meet the demanding needs of leaders and their organizations.
Coaches trained under this model often limited in their perspective and rely too heavily on only what they hear in individual coaching sessions which can encourage leaders to make choices that are mis-aligned with the goals, perspectives, and needs of employees across the entire organization.
